If you are new to using COMSOL Multiphysics and looking for a fast-paced introduction, this is the course for you. During the 1.5-day Training course, you will see how you can use the software to set up and solve models that are true to life.
We will begin by using a case study to lead you through the COMSOL software modeling workflow. You will learn the essential steps needed in all analyses (geometry creation, interactive meshing techniques, model setup, postprocessing, etc.) During the training course, we will focus on simplifications you can make when setting up your models to save both time and resources. We will use a combination of theoretical and practical lecture and guided hands-on training.
This course is designed for beginners and is a prerequisite for the course "Modeling with COMSOL - Part II" and other specialized courses. The course duration is 1.5 days.
- Finite element analysis (FEA) with COMSOL Multiphysics, from problem definition to evaluation of results
- Building a model & basic modeling steps
- Using predefined interfaces
- Basic meshing techniques
- Post-processing and documentation of results
The course will be held in English. Personal assistance is also available in German. Laptops are provided by us.
To attend this course, no special requirements are needed to be fulfilled. Please note, that this course should be completed before attending "Modeling with COMSOL - Part II" or any specialized course.
